t Lancaster Mennonite Conference Office staff are available to assist congregations in carrying out their God-given purpose. We desire to walk alongside congregations through collaborative and coordinated ministries and resources that support 2020 Vision.


L. Keith Weaver

As Conference Moderator, Keith gives spiritual oversight and direction, including promoting a missional vision for LMC. He also engages in fund development for LMC.

Keith has a Certificate in Ministry Studies. His vision is to see LMC become a fellowship of new, revitalized, and multiplying congregations, resulting in 250 congregations and 25,000 members by 2020.

Keith and his wife, JoAnne, are members of Blainsport Mennonite.


Joanne Dietzel

As Conference Coordinator, Joanne coordinates communications and nurtures relationships between LMC and Conference agencies and fraternal organizations. She also carries out the coordination of decisions and actions of the Bishop Board and its Executive Committee.

Joanne is earning a Certificate in Ministry Studies at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Her vision is to nurture and communicate hope in God's continued work and activity in this fellowship of congregations. In our changing culture, her mission is to "live all of life joyously from the inside out."

Joanne and her husband, Dan, are members of Ridgeview Mennonite.


Clair E. Good

As Church Planting Coordinator, Clair is a coach and mentor for church planting efforts in Lancaster Conference.

Clair has a MA in Church Leadership in Missions from Eastern Mennonite Seminary. He envisions LMC as a vibrant multiplying community of churches.

Clair and his wife, Beth, give leadership to Vision Columbia, a church plant, in Columbia, Pa.


Jon Heinly

As Youth Minister for LMC, Jon provides support, encouragement, networking, and resources for LMC youth pastors and advisors. He also organizes Conference-wide events for youth and youth ministers.

Jon earned his Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry and Theology from Eastern University. Jon's vision is to see youth pastors and advisors encouraged and equipped to minister to our youth. He desires to see LMC youth called into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and engagement in the kingdom of God.

Jon and his wife, Megan (Leaman), are members of West End Mennonite Fellowship.


Carl A. Hess

As Financial Administrator, Carl manages and reports Conference finances. He also oversees the Conference's information technology services and building/office maintenance.

Carl has a Bachelor's degree in History from Eastern Mennonite University. His vision is to actively participate in God's kingdom today.

Carl and his wife, Nancy, are members of New Danville Mennonite.


Conrad Kanagy

As staff consultant, Conrad oversees the work of the Church Ministries Team and provides leadership for the Vision 2010 Church Revitalization Initiative. Conrad went to Wheaton College and earned advanced degrees in sociology from Penn State. Conrad's vision is to contribute to the health and revitalization of LMC congregations for the sake of the world that God so loves.

Conrad and his wife, Heidi, are members of Elizabethtown Mennonite.


Laura Livengood

As Executive Assistant, Laura assists the Conference Moderator, Conference Coordinator, and other staff. Laura coordinates credentialing activities, helps to plan corporate gatherings, edits the Conference magazine, and manages the website and front desk.

Laura is a member of Mellinger Mennonite.


James R. Martin

As Congregational Consultant and Minister of Stewardship, James consults, teaches, preaches, and provides general resources for local congregations. James does specialized consulting with congregations in church building projects. He coordinates the Corinthian Plan healthcare plan for pastors and church employees.

James has a Certificate in Pastoral Studies and a MA in Church Leadership from Eastern Mennonite Seminary. His vision is to minister to congregations so that the people of God are vibrant, growing, healthy expressions of God's kingdom.

James and his wife, Betty, are members of Gehman Mennonite.


C. Kenneth Martin

As Conference Treasurer, Ken reports LMC financial status to the Bishop Board, advocates for funding with LMC congregations, and also contacts individuals regarding LMC funding.

Ken has earned numerous Continuing Education Units. His vision is to help each congregation and staff person become all that God intends them to be.

Ken sees finances as a tool to be used for the advancement of God's kingdom.

Ken and his wife, Lois, are members of Weaverland Mennonite.


Brinton Rutherford

As the point person for Missional Anabaptist Identity, Brinton works on communicating the core values of LMC. He also develops theology teams to encourage theological discussion among Conference leaders and gives leadership to the area of Leadership Development.

After earning a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics, Brinton went on to earn his Master's of Divinity and his Ph.D. in Theology. His vision is to help leaders and congregations answer the question, "What does it mean to be missional Anabaptists and how does that affect our future ministry together as LMC congregations?"

Brinton and his wife, Jenice, attend Willow Street Mennonite.


Dale W. Stoltzfus

As Interim Conference Minister, Dale gives leadership to LMC's Credentialing Commission.

After earning his Bachelor's degree from Eastern Mennonite University, Dale earned his M.Div. and his D.Min. from New York Theological Seminary. His vision is to be part of the team assisting the moderator and staff working at the Conference core values.

Dale and his wife, Doris, are members of Landisville Mennonite.
