International Partner Delegate-IMA Gathering Indonesia

Tom Eshleman, LMC International Partner Delegate, traveled to Indonesia for the October 16-20 International Missions Association (IMA) gathering at the GKMI Sempakata Medan. LMC New Staff

Rosita N’Dikwe began work as an administrative assistant in March of this year (2023) as a part-time staff. She focuses primarily on event planning, Legacy Foundation grant administration, and other administrative support.  Rosita and her husband, Danwe, are members of Elizabethtown Mennonite Church–serving together as Ministers of Youth. Rosita also serves as the church secretary.  They have seven children, four sons and three daughters.

Women’s Global Village

From the Margins to the Marketplace Together Women’s Global Village believes in the vision of empowering immigrant women. Elizabeth Soto and community volunteers gather with immigrant women weekly as they engage in healing arts, sewing, learning English, and telling their stories. Childcare is provided. On April 26, a graduation ceremony was held at HUB 450 for the twenty-five women who completed the twelve-week program.

Bishop Elder Team

Bishop Board and Conference Executive Council recently affirmed the placement of a Bishop Elders Team to lead LMC for the next three to five years and continue the prayerful discernment regarding governance and structure. The team consists of Marcia Mylin (LMC staff), Bishop Keith Blank (Landisville-Manor District), Bishop Rodney Martin (Conestoga River District), and Bishop Tuyen Nguyen (Philadelphia District).

LMC Conference Minister – Trip to Florida

Adalberto Santiago traveled to Florida from May 14 to 15 to participate in the assembly of the Southeast Mennonite Conference, a district of LMC.
