    Our Youth Group is diverse and has a student-led atmosphere. Youth group activities, including Sunday School, Wednesday night club activities, youth retreats, and attendance at Mennonite Youth Conference, are all currently being led by youth and volunteers. We are seeking a Director of Youth Ministries who can continue to utilize our volunteer talent while providing structure and oversight to bolster our high school and junior high youth programming.   • Children Ministry Director – Capital Christian Fellowship

    Multi-ethnic, multi-generational Anabaptist congregation in Washington DC suburbs seeks committed, passionate and energetic individual to lead our children’s ministry with multiple ministry times per week. This person will lead an average of 70 children; will recruit, equip, and oversee a volunteer team of children’s workers; and participate in a multiple church staff team mentality that is committed to the overall health and vitality of a growing outward reaching body of Christ on mission with Jesus. Heart loyalty to Jesus and passion to extend that heart into children who will lead the church in the next generation is the overarching paradigm.

    We are praying for a person who will:

    • Carry the heart of Jesus that says: “Let the children come to me”, and a readiness to multiply that heart into others, especially ministry volunteers

    The Coordinator for Weekly Volunteers coordinates functions related to recruiting, placing and scheduling weekly short term volunteers to ensure that MDS projects are equipped with qualified volunteers. This role coordinates the placement of weekly volunteer groups and individuals, and supports the Volunteer Team with administrative tasks. Some travel up to 10% time is required.

    The Warehouse and Equipment Manager will supervise the MDS warehouse located in Columbus, Mississippi including the buildings, contents and equipment stored on site. This role will maintain the buildings and seven acres of property, manage the warehouse, vehicles, equipment and tools to ensure the smooth daily operation of the warehouse and supervise the volunteers serving with MDS at the warehouse.
